President Duterte has extended the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon to April 30 to avoid the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said.
Nograles said the President accepted the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to extend the Luzon-wide quarantine until 11:59 p.m. of April 30
“Pagkatapos ng kanyang announcement, vinerify po namin ulit. The enhanced community quarantine is hereby extended until 11:59 pm, April 30,” Nograles said in a virtual briefing.
Guidelines governing the implementation of the quarantine would remain in effect unless changed by the President.
