President Rodrigo Duterte submitted on Monday his eighth weekly report to Congress on his administration’s response to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
This weekly report is part of the checks and balances mechanism that was provided for in the Bayanihan to Heal As One Act that granted the president additional powers to properly respond to the pandemic. The report contains all efforts done by the government in fighting the virus.
