Members of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) are planning to fly to Davao City this week to meet with President Rodrigo Duterte, who is currently at home with his family.
They are expected to travel to Duterte’s hometown on Thursday for a scheduled meeting on the administration’s COVID-19 response along with the President’s weekly address to the nation.

Duterte flew to Davao City two days before the country eased quarantine restrictions. Roque was immediately at the defense of the president.
[He stayed in Manila for 67 days. He only went home for three days last week, so of course it’s not enough.]
