
President Rodrigo Duterte will announce on Monday, June 15 his decision on the fate of community quarantine measures in the entire country, Malacañang said Thursday.
The inter-agency task force on pandemic response (IATF) has already submitted recommendations to the President, his spokesman Harry Roque confirmed..
“Mismong si Presidente Duterte po ang haharap at kakausap sa taumbayan sa Lunes, June 15,” Roque announced.

However, he noted that the said recommendations of the IATF is not yet final since local government units can still appeal.
On June 1, the government started to relax lockdowns across the country to jumpstart the economy which was negatively affected by lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Except for Metro Manila, Pangasinan province, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Central Visayas, Davao City, and Zamboanga City, which are under general community quarantine, all areas in the country are under the more relaxed modified GCQ until June 15.
