President Rodrigo Duterte is due to submit his latest and 13th report on the government’s response efforts amid COVID-19 pandemic on Monday, June 22.

The Bayanihan to Heal as One Act, inked late March 2020, gives the president the power to reallocate funds from the 2020 national budget as he deems necessary in the country’s fight against the pandemic.

In his 13th report, he is expected to provide an update on the second tranche of the social amelioration program which rolled out last week.

The President may also discuss the government’s plans to assist locally-stranded people to return home, after reports that a large number of workers were unable to travel back to their respective provinces due to quarantine restrictions.

Apart from the 13th report, President Duterte is also expected to have his scheduled address to the nation on Monday to discuss other topics regarding the COVID-19 crisis.
