Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. was rushed to the hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19 .
Revilla’s wife Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado revealed in a Facebook post that the senator’s X-ray showed that he has developed pneumonia.
“Father God, pls help my husband. He is being rushed to the hospital. His latest X-ray shows that he has developed pneumonia and isolation in a regular facility is no longer ideal,” she said.
“Hospital care badly needed. Father, we lift him up to you,” she added.
Later on, Revilla shared a Facebook live, where he asked the people to pray for his condition.
“Maganda araw po,” he said. “Okay, laban…[Ang] hirap,” said Revilla.
“Please pray for me. Please,” he said before ending his live video, which is no longer accessible on his Facebook account.
Revilla announced that he contracted COVID-19 last August 9.
