The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will be having a five-day online job fair in September as it celebrates the 120th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, Commissioner Aileen Lizada announced on Monday.
This is scheduled to happen from September 14 to 18, 2020, in partnership with JobStreet, an online platform for jobseekers.
“Good news po sa mga naghahanap ng trabaho (for those who are looking for jobs). We have more or less 729 job vacancies involving 76 government agencies,” Lizada said.
Job openings could increase as the CSC has extended its deadline for government agencies to register job vacancies until September 10. Guidelines for applicants are also published in CSC’s website to guide them through the process.
Adult joblessness in the Philippines have reached a record-high of 45.5% in July due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.
