Vice President Leni Robredo offered livelihood and job opportunities to leaders of various transport groups to help them and their families get through the pandemic.

In her radio show on Sunday, Robredo shared what had transpired during her consultation meeting with transport groups from Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog as they discussed problems faced by the sector amid the crisis.

Robredo’s office urged drivers to apply for jobs through the Sikap.PH website, under her “Bayanihanapbuhay” program for jobseekers in need of a source of income.

[We told them that we will help them apply because most of them do not have gadgets or access to the internet. We also have a livelihood assistance program where they can apply because that is really intended for those who need it.]
