Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa lauded the members of the Presidential Security Group, even encouraging the public to thank them, after getting the unapproved COVID-19 vaccine shots before anyone else.
Dela Rosa said the PSG members’ inoculation with the still unregulated vaccine has risked their lives as “guinea pigs” to protect President Rodrigo Duterte from COVID-19.
“Nagpapasalamat nga tayo sa kanila dahil ginawa nilang guinea pig ang sarili nila. Walang nasa isip nila kung paano maprotektahan ang Pangulo.”
To recall, no vaccine has been approved yet by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for COVID-19. The agency prohibits the importation, distribution and use of unregistered drugs.
But Dela Rosa insists the PSG troops did not violate any law.
