President Rodrigo Duterte’s weekly public address on the COVID-19 pandemic in the country has been rescheduled to Wednesday, as a full Cabinet meeting was held on Monday instead, his spokesman has said.
“Mamayang gabi po (Tonight), there will be a Cabinet meeting and the talk to the people will be on Wednesday,” Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said.
He added that the agenda of the Cabinet meeting is confidential.
Duterte’s public address, usually aired late Mondays, will be moved to Wednesday because the president will be presiding over the Cabinet meeting.
