While the Philippine General Hospital is not yet asking for a timeout, its official shared the exhaustion and difficulties the personnel is facing as COVID-19 cases continue to skyrocket.
At the same time, pilay kami dahil may ilan kaming health care workers na may sakit so naapektuhan ‘yung aming pagma-man ng aming mga post so medyo nakakaramdam na rin ng pagod,” del Rosario, spokesman of PGH, said in an interview.
“There is a possibility baka kung talagang medyo umaapaw na humingi rin kami ng timeout,” he added.
Moreover, the hospital are worried about recent projections that COVID-19 infections could further increase by the end of the month.
Aside from COVID-10 patient, the state hospital also has other patients to care for.
