MANILA – Presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo has promised to clean up government ranks and eradicate graft and corruption if elected.

Robredo said during her speech at the grand rally in Bulacan on Wednesday evening that in her long service in the government, she was never involved in any corruption complaint or case.

rally here in Malolos, I told you our platform. I told you that the first thing that we will do is to clean the government, that is why our promise is an honest government to lift the lives of everyone),” she said.

She and her team, Robredo noted, have made so many promises, however, those will not be fulfilled if the government is not honest and is full of corrupt people.

She added that with an honest government, investments and businesses will easily come in and that will result in a better economy.

Robredo stated that an honest government means having hardworking and capable government servants.

Our economy will only improve if investors trust us. If not, we will be unable to create more jobs, and we won’t be able to fix our economy the way we want it),” she said.

Robredo also urged her supporters to constantly seek proof before believing those vying for their votes.

She also informed the public about her various projects and the assistance provided by her office in past years, most especially during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic and natural disasters.

According to Robredo, the people are choosing for a bright future by voting for her.

We are doing this for our country. We are doing this for our children and their future),” she said.
