
MANILA – A magnitude 7.3 earthquake jolted Abra on Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The tectonic quake struck 2 kilometers northeast of the municipality of Lagangilang at 8:43 a.m.
The quake was at depth of 25 kilometers, the Phivolcs report said.
Intensity IV was felt in Quezon City.
Aftershocks and damage are expected from the temblor, Phivolcs said.
