MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday stated that most parts of Luzon and Mindanao are forecast to have fair weather in the next three days.

In its three-day weather outlook, the state weather bureau said the northeast monsoon or amihan is still bringing cloudy skies and rains to Northern Luzon and parts of Central and Southern Luzon.

On the other hand, the shear line is expected to bring chances of scattered rains over Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Oriental.

PAGASA said no low pressure area has been sighted inside or outside the Philippine area of responsibility. However, it is monitoring cloud clusters east of Mindanao.

For the next three days, Metro Manila, with temperatures ranging from 21 to 31 degrees Celsius, will be fair with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and chances of light rain.

PAGASA said Baguio City, still colder at 13 to 24 degrees, is also forecast to experience fair weather conditions until Wednesday.

The Bicol region, however, is expected to have a little more rain today due to the shear line and on Tuesday due to the amihan but will have improving weather by Wednesday.

PAGASA said Metro Cebu will also have scattered rains and thunderstorms today but would have better weather by Tuesday and Wednesday while Metro Davao will have fair weather in the next three days but will be warmer at 24 to 33 degrees.
