Mayors have decided to have only one type of lockdown to be imposed across the whole Metro Manila, he said.

The National Capital Region, which accounts for a third of the gross domestic product, is under modified quarantine until May 31, which reboots the economy by allowing select industries to to operate up to 50-percent capacity.

A looser general community quarantine or GCQ will let almost all industries will be allowed to operate up to 75 percent except amusement centers and those with mass gatherings.
