According to the resolution, President Duterte’s “steadfast leadership and the strong public support for his agenda of change” will help the government “deliver our people, our communities, our economy, back to good health.”

In a briefing, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque kept mum but said he would ask Duterte about said resolution.

Another member of the clan, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, has consistently topped the presidential and vice presidential surveys.

However, she said she has no plans of participating in the 2022 elections.

In a speech also on Thursday, the President said his former aide-turned-Senator Bong Go wants to run for the highest office in the government.
